Welcome to Integrated Energy and Environmental Solutions (Pty) Ltd

IEES takes great pride in the new bulk hot water storage technology, that replaces the old conventional steel boiler system with new low pressure fibreglass heat accumulators. This technology is brand new to the South African market and IEES is the only company that has successfully manufactured these units so far. These heat accumulators can last up to 30 years and don’t need any heavy lifting equipment or rigging as each tank is hand carried and assembled on site.

We differentiate ourselves from other companies by operating in accordance with provisions of legislation and the recommendations of the industry.

Research and Development:

  • Introducing latest technology.
  • Ongoing determination of market and customer needs.
  • Establishing long-term growth potential.
  • Establishing opportunities for new products.
  • Design new products based on market demands.
  • Modifying existing products to satisfy the needs of customers.

Optimising Hot Water Storage Technology - Maximizing Efficiency, Safety and Health

Storing Hot Water is expensive!

With the Thermal Exchange Technology (TET) from IEES, we are introducing the next level in storing ENERGY. Energy to heat potable water up to 95ºC, but up to 25% more efficient compared to steel tanks, boilers or calorifiers.

Conventional boilers blend water once hot water has been drawn. Powerful direct electric heating is used to compensate for the blending.

The TET concept pushes cold, potable water through a stainless steel heat exchange coil, drawing the heat from the heating medium surrounding the coil. This minimizes the blending of both hot and cold water (stratification) within the tank. The heating medium remains hot for longer.

Further by removing the drinking water from the tank, the risk of water contamination has been totally removed. Water born diseases that thrive on standing water such as Legionella are minimized.
